논문같은 걸 읽다가 기억해둘 만한 부분에 마킹을 할 때 여태까지는 형광펜을 주로 썼었다. 그런데 자꾸 쓰다보니 눈도 아프고 쓰기도 좀 불편하며 무엇보다 형광펜이 내는 색이 별로 마음에 안든다.
그래서. 색연필을 두자루 사왔다. Faber-Castell社의 Jumbo Grip으로.
여기까지 다 좋은데 문제는 연필이라 쓰다보면 반드시 깎아 줘야 한다는 것. 물론 직접 칼을 들고 깎아보는 것도 나름의 운치가 있겠지만 역시 귀찮다. 색연필 사면서 쓸만한 연필깎이가 없나 찾아봤는데 마음에 드는 것도 없다.
그냥 직접 깎아서 쓰기로 마음을 먹었고 '정 싫으면 가져와라. 내가 깎아 주겠다.'라는 동생의 다짐까지 받았지만 그래도 아쉬워서 한번 찾아봤다. 색연필을 만든 회사인 Faber-Castell社의 홈페이지에 들어가 봤더니 이런 물건이 있다.
